This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Sherry Taylor, Receptionist at our East Camden, Arkansas clinic!
Sherry joined Access Medical Clinic in December 2025 and has quickly become a welcoming presence for both patients and teammates. Her passion for serving others, positive attitude, and commitment to helping wherever she’s needed make her an invaluable member of the AMC family.
Although Sherry originally earned her CNA certification with plans to pursue nursing, life took her on a different path. After taking time to raise her children, she found her way back to healthcare, a journey she believes was guided by the Lord. Today, with seven years of combined healthcare experience, she enjoys making a difference in the lives of patients and supporting her team each day.
When asked what accomplishment makes her most proud, Sherry didn’t mention awards or titles. Instead, she shared that the smiles and hugs she receives from current and former patients, along with the appreciation of her coworkers, remind her that her kindness and hard work make a meaningful impact.
What she loves most about AMC is the people. “My work family” was her immediate response, adding that she appreciates being able to give her best at work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
According to her teammates, Sherry is hard-working, caring, and festive. She’s someone who brings both compassion and joy to the workplace.
Outside of work, Sherry enjoys reading, singing, attending church, and spending time with her husband, children, and two grandsons. She also serves as the song leader at Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God and is proud to support her family’s local business, Hornet Glass.
Sherry and her husband have been married since 1997 after meeting as prom dates. Together, they’ve built a life rooted in the East Camden community, where they’ve raised their family, started a small business, and now enjoy being “Sugar” and “Pops” to their grandsons.
